This 3rd year unit (worth 4 credit points) will examine relationships from the perspective of social psychology and in a life cycle sequence, beginning with relationship development and moving on to relationship maintenance and dissolution. Throughout, we will explore the more complex experiences of love, intimacy, cognition, emotion, communication and conflict, as well as investigating a number of different types of relationships.
