NOTICE ON MID-SEMESTER EXAMINATION
The mid-semester exam in this unit will be held during the lecture on Monday 7 April 2003. The exam will commence at 7.10 p.m. and will be one hour and ten minutes long. There will be a lecture beforehand commencing at 6.05pm.This exam will cover any material covered in lectures, assignments or tutorials up to and including the end of Week 4. It will be worth 15% of the total unit assessment.
The mid-semester examination will be closed book apart from one A4 size piece of paper written on one side only that you are permitted to bring in. No other material is permitted in the exam.
Failure to attend this examination without proper medical documentation of illness (on the Professional Authority Form) will at best result in a mark of zero being awarded or possible exclusion from the unit. There is no make-up for this examination.
You should bring into this exam only the following:
(a) a calculator
(b) writing implements (pen, pencil, ruler, etc.)
(c) one sheet of paper (one side only) with handwritten notes.
