BUSL350: Business Law
Semester 1 and Semester 2, 2008
Introduction
This unit reviews areas of law relevant to marketing law, and related areas of management law. It aims to inform prospective managers, marketing personnel and other professionals of legal issues arising in commerce and professional practice.More specific objectives include:

Reinforcing an understanding of the fundamental ideas in the law;

Focusing on the institutions of the law;

Developing knowledge of specific rules and principles in certain branches of the law; and

Continuing the development of the basic skills of legal analysis, through the eliciting and application of the law to hypothetical fact situations.
Class Arrangements
Classes will consist of one 2-hour seminar each week.
